Colonel.\u00a0 Gen.\u00a0 Dwight rode up to the Reg. &amp; watched our movements narrowly.\u00a0 He made some remarks, criticizing pretty sharply.\u00a0 He seemed determined to have things done \u201cup to the mark\u201d\u2014was perfectly calm &amp; gentlemanly in his criticisms, exhibiting quite a contrast to Col.
