I have received two letters from William this week, in one of them $15. He said he sent you $35 which I could have when I wanted by sending to you. I shall want it by the middle of this month to pay for clothes, etc. So you had better send it in your next Sunday letter and then I will get it in time. I expect to be at home in about six weeks.<\/p>\n<p>When William wrote he was on his way to Charleston. It seems they are going to make another attack. I hope it will be more successful than the last.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie has not written me for nearly a year. I can not think why it is. I have written him and sent him several papers.<\/p>\n<p>Your Aff.
