W. Lovejoy, who arrived yesterday morning from\u00a0 B. Rouge, was taken back in an ambulance, with several other men, to the hospital at Bayou Boeuf.\u00a0 Took his gun &amp; equipments with him.\u00a0 Shores is to stay here in convalescent camp\u2014he took Lovejoy\u2019s half of a shelter tent.\u00a0 Wyman is determined to go with the Co., tho\u2019 he is not very strong.\u00a0 Troops are going across the river all the time, &amp; we are waiting orders to \u201cfall in\u201d for the same purpose.\u00a0 Just before noon the Col. sent our last payrolls to be signed by the men.\u00a0 He all of our Co. sign who are with us, &amp; returned the rolls to the Col.<br \/>\nAt 2 o\u2019clock fell into line in marching order, and soon after marched down near the boat landing, stacked arms, &amp; here I now write (3 \u00bd o\u2019clock).\u00a0 The Reg. are lying &amp; sitting on their knapsacks, while others are embarking &amp; we don\u2019t know as we shall be called for till night.\u00a0 About sunset made fires &amp; got supper, then pitched tents &amp; turned in.\u00a0 At 10 o\u2019clock were roused from sleep &amp; ordered to embark.\u00a0 Seven companies from the right (the other three Cos.
