Gender Inclusivity Movements

For transgender, gender non-binary, or gender non-conforming students, choosing between using the men’s and the women’s restroom may cause discomfort and alienation. The Transgender Student Guide was created by the Transgender Working Group, a collaboration of the Sexuality, Women and Gender Center (SWAG), Counseling Center, Student Health Services, the Office of the Registrar, the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, the Office of Residential Life, the Department of Athletics, and the Office of Student Aid to assist students who identify as transgender, agender, genderqueer, gender non-binary, and/or gender questioning. The guide includes a list of resources as well as the location of gender inclusive bathrooms on campus as an effort to support gender non-conforming students.
